Medication Assistant Training
- 5-week course (60 class/lab hours; 40 clinical hours)
- Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Training is held at the Gadsden State Valley Street Campus
- Cost: $1,000 per participant (includes tuition, skills/CNA insurance, student manual)
- Financial aid is not available at this time
- Eligible students can take the Medication Assistant Certification Exam (MACE)
- Application packets will be accepted in the Skills Training Office located on the East Broad campus or emailed to skills@eee310.com
- Upon receipt of application packet and required documents (see below), you will be contacted regarding payment.
- Gadsden State Community College Skills Training Admissions & Registration Forms (Include a copy of driver’s license or state ID)
- Proof of Background Check (Must be within the last 3 years)
- Proof of Drug Screen (Negative Screen must be within the last 30 days)
- Proof of Immunizations (Completion of Hepatitis B and MMR Series or Positive Titers)
- Proof of TB Skin Test or Chest X-Ray
- Proof of Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
